That which separates the terrestrial human being from the common animal and makes it a "Christ-child" or prospective perfect human being is thus its incipient growth away from the opposite sex. That this growth is promoted by an incipient new organic structure deep in the being's consciousness therefore becomes a fact or reality through all the experiences that show the development of the ability to feel sympathy for not merely the opposite sex, but also sympathy for the being's own sex. Since all sympathy in its deepest nature is sexuality, this new organic structure is thus also of a sexual nature. That this sympathetic nature at its present stage in the mentality of terrestrial humanity is to a large extent quite uncultivated or imperfect, yes, even spreading itself out into many kinds of clear aberrations, is quite natural as long as the same humanity has not yet at all been taught or has proclaimed the highest structure of the true sexuality. It is these aberrations that hide under the concept of perversity. That these aberrations or perversities will flourish as long as the terrestrial human being is completely ignorant of the part of the structure of the sexual principle that lies outside the true area of the specific male and female beings, is naturally a matter of course. But this does not after all change the growth of the "Christ-child". The experiences, delusions and perversities are only birth pangs and lessons that will gradually give the being the wisdom it needs and hence ultimately bring it into contact with its future purpose as a "human being in God's image".
      The phenomena of one's own sex and the opposite sex are thus something that are declining in the mentality of the terrestrial human being in favour of neighbourly love. Its neighbour is thus in reality a new "sex", an incipient new object for the individual's sympathy and love. Deep in the consciousness of the terrestrial human being, a new organic structure is thus beginning to develop that will gradually transform the terrestrial human being's current organism from being single-sexed to being double-sexed, and thereby making the individual a being in whom the feminine and masculine principle is in total equilibrium or balance. And according to cosmic analyses in my main work "Livets Bog" it is this balance that is solely the condition of the creation or manifestation of absolute neighbourly love and the complete revelation of the "fulfilment of the law" that is released through this. The being has then been transformed into a mental solar being that has no shadow but which sends its halo out over everything and everyone, just like the suns and the stellar cities of the universe. While the man and woman or the purely male and female being are only mental half-suns, because they cannot feel sympathy for and much less love their own sex and therefore cast a deep shadow out towards this sex, the perfect Christ-being or double-poled spiritual being is a whole being or a whole sun. It cannot therefore in itself cast any kind of mental shadow. Since it is double-poled, the same being does not have anyone of the opposite sex to favour or anyone of its own sex to compete with or feel antipathy towards. It sends its warming light out towards everything and everyone.
