The Christmas Gospel
Chapter 15
The perfect human being is not a "man" or "woman", just as one does not marry in the kingdom of heaven
But antipathy towards the sexual life or sexuality of terrestrial human beings would not have been of such a prominent nature, as is the case, if there were not another and still deeper phenomenon that had begun to intervene. This new phenomenon is in reality precisely an incipient development of virgin birth. In the kingdom through which the terrestrial human being is now evolving through its many lives, and on the basis of which development it constitutes, as described here, a "Christ-child", "one does not marry". The said kingdom differs from the "animal kingdom" in that one does not appear as specifically "male" or "female" beings in this kingdom. The perfect human being in "God's image" is not a man or a woman. It is not a being that is organically built to fall in love with the opposite sex. In the kingdom of heaven, which is still "not of this world" but is rapidly on the way to becoming so, two kinds of specifically male and female beings do not exist at all. If these two organic structures should continue and also exist in the "kingdom of heaven" as they exist in the "animal kingdom", there would not possibly occur any "kingdom of heaven" or a kingdom in which compliance with the laws of love is complete. So that the "kingdom of heaven" can be born and become fundamental in a being's mentality, it is an inescapable necessity that one should "love one's neighbour as oneself".
