Symbol 20
A Summary Explanation of Symbol No. 20 - The Forgiveness of Sins
The symbol symbolises the evolution of the faculty of humaneness and the resultant liberation from returning dark karma or fate. In the absolute sense no sin exists. But ignorance causes the human being to make many mistakes. It reaps the effects of these mistakes in the form of suffering and an unhappy fate, which in turn develop its humane faculties. When the being’s humaneness has developed to such an extent that it can no longer have the heart to manifest one dark action or another, it is protected against the returning effects in its fate from dark actions similar to those it manifested previously. This holds true regardless of how many of these fateful effects are still “waiting in queue” for the being to experience. This is the cosmic principle of the forgiveness of sins.
