39.6  Summary of the second category in Group A
The next figure indicates a being from the second category in Group A. The yellow area in this figure is more dominating here than the green, which means that the energy of feeling in relation to the energy of intelligence is far too developed in the beings within the second category. We have subdivided this category into six sections (see Livets Bog, chapter 5), which in turn represent a zone of evolution that stretches from the forecourt to the great birth down to the periphery of the old world impulse. The most noble of these beings will, like the beings in the first category, be receptive to the new world impulse and be its true intimates and champions. The beings we call "artists" belong also pre-eminently to the second category. But there are also beings here that, because of their primitive intelligence in relation to their feelings, appear more or less as "fanatics", as autosuggestive or self-appointed founders of sects or supposed religious reformers, who turn their own fantastic ideas into new dogmas. Other beings here, however, are fanatical followers of new religious societies. "The zone of infertility", "the zone of unhappy marriages" or "the zone of degeneration" extends very far into this second category. From the sphere of the second category the resistance towards the new world impulse will begin.
