36.5  The kingdoms of the spiral cycle
As we learnt long ago, eternal life appears in great cosmic periods that we know by the term spiral cycles. In such a spiral cycle six kinds of planes of existence or life occur. These are maintained by the beings' superconsciousness, fate element, primordial desire and the cosmic basic energies. These energies together form the kingdoms or planes of existence referred to above. These kingdoms are symbolised by the coloured staircase figure at the bottom of the symbol, just like the same kingdoms that are shown on symbol no. 35. Together they constitute the epoch of life or period of a spiral cycle. As the colours show, they constitute from the bottom upwards: the plant kingdom (red colour), the animal kingdom, the human kingdom, the kingdom of wisdom, the divine world and the kingdom of bliss. After this a new plant kingdom begins, a new animal kingdom and so on for all eternity. The kingdom of bliss is an intermediate zone between the spiritual and physical world. It casts its reflection onto the physical plane as that which we call the mineral kingdom. From here the living beings evolve through the plant kingdom and the animal kingdom, and culminate here as devil-human beings in the darkness of life. After this culmination they become finished human beings in God's image after his likeness. And these finished human beings then live on as spiritual beings on the cosmic or spiritual planes of existence or kingdoms.
