38.26  The next dotted line symbolises the connection between the unfinished human being and the mixed vegetarian diet, consisting of leaves, roots and stalks, that has its domicile partly in the animal kingdom and partly in the human kingdom and is symbolised in the form of the large step second from the bottom of the symbol. We see that this digestion involves no killing, since no yellow or green life units occur in plant matter. But since it is not the final perfect food for the finished human being, even though it is free of killing, we have symbolised this by the dark yellow sun on the step. Similarly we have indicated its digestion with the same dark yellow colour in the top left corner of the symbol.
