34.18  The aura of copulation, the aura of bliss and conception
When a spiritual being can thus pass from a spiritual existence to a physical one, it is due to the fact that the spiritual or discarnated being is equipped with a set of talent kernels for building up a new physical organism, talent kernels inherited from its previous physical life. But these talent kernels can, as we know, ripen or develop only by making contact with suitable physical matter from which they are to be built up. And this physical matter does not occur on the spiritual plane. But we see here how divinely a passage is opened through the normal physical act of copulation for the discarnated being to pass from the spiritual plane to manifestation and experience of life on the physical plane. When the act of copulation can thus be the provoking factor for the incarnation in physical matter of a spiritual being, and thereby its physical manifestation and experience of life on the material plane, it is due to the divine aura of light engendered by the normal act of copulation between two one-poled beings of opposite sexes. The copulating couple feels this aura as the climax of satisfaction or sensual pleasure during the act of copulation. It constitutes the very highest vital force and, as previously described, is nothing less than the holy spirit of God. This aura is thus spiritual in nature and has a particular wavelength for every single being and is released climactically normally only during the act of copulation. This feeling of bliss can also to some extent be induced during the solitary sexual act that we call "masturbation", but this act has nothing whatsoever to do with the principle of reincarnation or rebirth. It is carried out as a rule with an "imagined partner" of the opposite sex, in some cases, however, with a being of one's own sex. This is due to the transformation of the being's poles and the degeneration of its talent for marriage.
When the normal act of copulation between two beings of opposite sexes takes place, the above-mentioned divine aura is created, the spiritual nature of which is the same as the aura emanated by the discarnated beings in the kingdom of bliss. The kingdom of bliss, as will be remembered, is the plane where discarnated beings mature in order to be reborn on the physical plane. During the normal act of copulation between two beings of opposite sexes they emanate, as previously mentioned, a spiritual aura or energy of bliss that, during the culmination of the act, unconsciously brings them onto the same wavelength as the energy of bliss emanated by the discarnated beings that have matured sufficiently to be reborn on the physical plane. The aura of every discarnated being emanates from its set of talent kernels for physical creation, which begins to awaken with the onset of the maturity mentioned above. Since the beings' sets of talent kernels are not equally advanced in evolution, their emanations of bliss or auras will differ correspondingly. Since the sets of talent kernels belonging to the physical copulatory beings also differ, their emanations of bliss during the act of copulation will differ. When a discarnated being is ready to incarnate in physical matter it is attracted by the normal copulatory act of two physical beings whose blissful radiance is on the same wavelength as its own. And through this contact between the energy of bliss of the two copulating beings and the energy of bliss of the discarnated being the process that we call "conception" takes place.
