Furthest to the right in the symbol there is a narrow vertical figure marked no. 1. It signifies the being's reincarnation or rebirth. The violet squares into which it is divided symbolise the being's many physical lives, while the white line through these squares symbolises the presence of the I in all the lives. The squares symbolise merely reincarnation or the principle of rebirth, but absolutely not the number of these lives in the various sections. This number is far greater than that shown in the symbol.
