The principal cosmic, organic foundation for the living being's experience of life, its many stages of consciousness, its transformation from animal to human being is the being's sympathetic disposition, which is the same as the organic structure for the highest fire, and which underlies the being's cyclical passage through spheres of light and darkness. It promotes the being's appearance as a member of the male sex, the female sex and the human sex, the latter meaning the finished human being in God's image. The highest fire is the basis for war as well as peace, and is thereby the main organ for the formation of the being's fate. It has its seat in the superconsciousness of the being, and is promoted by the primordial desire and the mother energy, and is called forth from here by the six basic energies that we already know as the energy of instinct, gravity, feeling, intelligence, intuition and memory. It promotes the principle of contrast through which the possibility for every form of sensing exists.
