While symbol no. 28 is constructed as a set of steps seen from the side, symbol no. 29 indicates these steps seen from the front. This is shown from the side in symbol no. 28 thus enabling us to see the large sections of the spiral cycle, which are symbolised by the large violet steps, and likewise enabling us to see the planes of existence, which are symbolised by the smaller steps shown in the colours of the basic energies. In symbol no. 29 we have shown this set of steps from the front to enable us to indicate very much smaller sections of the cycle, such as terrestrial life cycles and the evolutionary paths of living beings.
