The Arcs of Fate of the Living Being
Symbol no. 18
18.1 How the fate of the being arises
Through symbol no. 16 we became acquainted with the fact that the living being constitutes a source and a centre for the triggering of movement.
Through symbol no. 15 we became familiar with the law of movement, which has the effect that no movement can go in a straight line but must inevitably return to its source, as shown on symbol no. 16 (The Eternal Body).
With this sending out of movement the being forms its way of being.
With this way of being it creates its manifestations or creations, and thereby forms its relationship to other living beings.
Since these beings also send out movement in the form of their way of being, their manifestation and their creation, a reaction arises as a result of the contact between the movements of these two beings.
This reaction constitutes the being's experience of life, which in turn is the same as its "fate".
This reaction or fate can be a greater or lesser war with those in one's surroundings; it can be suffering and pain; it can be darkness, or greater or lesser unpleasantness or pleasantness, joy in living and well-being; or it can be a culmination of light, depending on the combination of the basic energies that the consciousness of the being presents itself with in given situations.
