The Eternal World Picture, vol. 2
Explanation of symbol no. 22A
The Materialistic or Unfinished World Picture
22.7  Symbol no. 22A symbolises the same as the lower part of symbols nos. 21 and 22, which constitutes the physical world. Here we also see above the dark indented area the physical organism of the son of God or the living being. Below the dark indented area we see the physical world facing the physical organism of the son of God. The physical world consists, as we have already been informed, of living beings, whether it be the microcosmos, the macrocosmos or the mesocosmos. The fact that the physical world so consists of living beings is symbolised in the symbol by our division of this world into ray-shaped figures. Each ray thus symbolises a living being just like the two other symbols mentioned here. The light grey rays on the left and the dark rays on the right also constitute, as in the two other symbols, the plant kingdom and the animal kingdom respectively. The white rays, top left, constitute the element of the kingdom of bliss in the physical world and is known here as what we term the mineral kingdom. The white rays top right symbolise the coming finished human kingdom as a physical reality on the earth.
