This karma has two kinds of arcs of fate. It has short ones and long ones. The short arcs of fate bring about the poor health and illnesses that can arise from animal nutrition. The long arcs of fate are retribution for the karma of suffering, killing and death that people have inflicted on the animals. These arcs of fate can span several physical terrestrial lives before they are manifested. This manifestation occurs as a rule together with the arcs of fate for peoples' other sufferings and lethal conduct towards their neighbours. We know these concentrated manifestations of karma as wars or states of war with all their horrendous infernal machines and deadly apparatuses. As long as mankind slaughters and eats animals it will be impossible for it to be finished with the experience of suffering, Doomsday or Armageddon. And as long as this continues the death-torch of war will continue blazing over terrestrial mankind.
