8.4  The white disc symbolises the namelessness that the universe in itself expresses by virtue of the fact that it constitutes all that exists. It hereby expresses the same "Something" as the I in the living being. We must therefore regard this "Something" as the "I of the universe", which we have expressed as "X1".
