16.3  Death can be only an illusory contrast to life
But movement cannot possibly be a characteristic of death. It is incontrovertibly the characteristic of life. Since the entire universe consists only of movement, no real or absolute death can exist. Death can be only an illusory contrast to life. Everything in the universe is one hundred per cent an expression of life. Therefore, there does not exist any absolute expression of death. But something that does not exist cannot give expression to any existence. We have also realised that the originators of movement, and so the originators of creation and experience, are the living beings of the universe. These living beings are each the originator of movement in the form of creation and experience. It is these two phenomena that determine the living beings as living.
