14.3  Terrestrial human beings have not yet come to the end of the road as regards complete satiation with the dark epoch
All normal pleasure thus leads to satisfaction and to hunger for the contrast. No bliss or enjoyment therefore can be continued eternally. So the condition of dark experiences and the condition of light experiences must be alternating repetitions, though in new variations. And that is just the analysis of the cycle. Is it not just so that we see that the human beings here on Earth have not finished with their dark epoch? Do they not to a great extent live by the principle of killing? They kill animals and human beings; they cause other living beings great sufferings. They live at war with each other. Illnesses, sorrows, troubles, disablement, unnatural death and world wars still rule on Earth. Human beings have not yet reached complete satiation with darkness, and are consequently very far from the total experience of the epoch of light, though in certain cases a beginning hunger for this epoch may be perceived. This hunger results particularly in the longing for a permanent peace and the consequent peace movements, peace propaganda and anti-militarism.
