14.18  The materialistic science and the microlife in our organism
Whatsoever the inner life experience, thoughts, wishes, desires, joys and sorrows etc., these our microbeings' experience are not determinable by physical sensory perception, nor are they observable by the use of any scientific instruments, electronic microscopes, even though these enlarge thousands of times, or by any other ingenious physical instrument or research method. But one cannot fail to admire the results of materialistic science. It has after all revealed a great deal of the outer technique and chemistry of the microworld. It has given information about the microscopic forms of movements and structures and with this knowledge shown the microworld's identity as life, though the movement as seen by science is perhaps still not acknowledged to be life's most distinguishing feature. There still appears an inclination to perceive the microworld as an unconscious phenomenon. But, though the mentioned world's special life or consciousness cannot be sensed with physical senses, this is no proof that this life and consciousness do not exist.
