Dictatorship in the economic sphere
1511. And is there not the same dictatorial stranglehold on everything that is controlled by so-called "capitalism"? Is not "capitalism" precisely the very newest, most refined, best-camouflaged and hidden form of the principle of dictatorship, which is anything but stagnant? Since everything can be evaluated in monetary terms or as capital, he who has the largest capital becomes to a corresponding degree a factor of power. He can use his capital to buy the skills and working capacities of other beings. These purchased skills and working capacities become his armaments or weapons. With these weapons he can coerce fellow beings who are economically his inferiors. And in this way many beings and firms have been forced into ruin or destruction. The dictatorship of business is guided not by the principle of "giving rather than receiving", but to the very greatest extent by the principle of "receiving rather than giving". And since this principle is to a great extent protected by law and is thus a factor contributing to the general condition of society, it is understandable that this general condition must to a corresponding extent be full of worries and anxieties. Economic ruin, bankruptcy and poverty will be inevitable factors in any society as long as the principle of dictatorship holds sway in the economic sphere.
