Star figure no. 3 – Logic
682. Star field no. 3 is intended to show that on closer observation this manifestation of cause and effect proves to be completely logical. That this is so becomes a fact through all the phenomena that are unfailingly a product of this logic. We need only observe the flesh and blood of our own organism. Are we not forced to admit the presence of an almost inconceivable logic in Nature's creative process that, from a state of being a flaming sun or fire, has in the course of time been able to transform the materials into this masterpiece of chemistry, physics and technology? To deny the presence of an all-prevailing logic would in this case be the same as to assert that the most perfect, precision tools in existence – with which we cannot only smell, taste, hear, see and feel, but also think – are a conglomeration of coincidences. But if chance factors can give such perfect results and become such perfect tools for manifestation, creation and life experience, which no genius in thinking or expert in logic could have made in a better or more appropriate way, why is it that chance manifestations of energy by these same ingenious thinkers and creators cannot express the same logical perfection and precision? Is it not a fact that in everything we undertake we have to use the most precise, logical thought if we are to obtain a correspondingly logical or perfect result? Why is this logical ability necessary within our own creation if it is quite superfluous in Nature's creation? How can it be that Nature's ocean of chance factors can result in ingenious, logical or one hundred per cent purposeful creation when our own manifestation of chance factors can result in absolutely nothing other than chaos? How can it be that Nature can achieve the ingenuity in creation or production that the rest of us can achieve on the strength of only the logical sense or intellectual gifts of a genius? Can it be worthy of an advanced scientist or researcher to believe that this is in fact the case? No, life's own logic in its creation is a far superior or all-governing factor for this to be so. Every living being's appearance, its breathing, its digestion, in short all its normal organic functions would be an absolute impossibility were it not for this divine phenomenon. And when we take into consideration the entire remaining ocean of perfect results in creation in the form of minerals, plants and animals, it will not be difficult to see how unshakable this third basic answer to the mystery of life is.
That this is illustrated in the symbol by the sign of the cross is due to the fact that the cross, which we will come back to later, is an expression of perfect sensory perception, in which the being sees not only answers in terms of weights and measures but also sees the objects or movements as "answers in terms of expressions of life".
