680. This speech of life shows the reader every single day of his existence that he is confronted with a great many other things. The existence of these other things, as well as his own existence, he has long ago seen to be a fact through the speech of life. He cannot therefore justifiably say that he or these other things absolutely do not exist. The researcher as well as all the things that he is surrounded by or that he can perceive constitute not a "nothing" but a "something". This is the first basic answer to the mystery of life. This answer is given expression in the symbol's star field no. 1. Here we can see all the basic energies. This combination of the basic energies symbolises everything that exists. And it is this "everything" that exists as a "something".
