669. Just as in Symbol no. 10 we confirmed the principle of the cycle, we will now in Symbol no. 11 confirm for the researcher the twelve basic answers concerning the mystery of life, which in turn together constitute nothing less than the incontestable solution to the mystery of life itself.
      As became apparent in section 558 of "Livets Bog", these basic answers emerge as living facts when the advanced researcher meditates upon himself. And we will now, with the support of the symbol, fix in our minds this all-encompassing solution to the riddle of life and from there in our hearts and consciousnesses. For having once understood this symbol's speech, the researcher will never again be able to be the same being as he was before this understanding. Indeed, even in cases in which the understanding is still only theoretical, he will nevertheless have received a part of the baptism of the "Father" and the "son" and the "holy spirit" that should turn all human beings into disciples of the world redeemer, that is to say, into disciples of the Godhead in the science of humaneness and love. In its most profound analysis "baptism" is the same as "initiation", which in turn is the same as "enlightenment". And this initiation or enlightenment occurs in no more perfect a form than in life's own direct speech. And it is this speech that, in the form of Symbol no. 11, we will now make the object of the advanced researcher's meditation.
