Livets Bog, vol. 1
Everything as an expression of life. It proves necessary for the seeker of Truth to obtain a comprehensive view of his own and his fellow beings' relationship to and position in evolution, or the living being's eternal journey towards Light
272. Now we have begun to see that our own life-form is surrounded by other, most extraordinary life-forms and existences, living beings in which we ourselves constitute organs and living beings who again constitute our own organs; and through this we arrive at the viewpoint that existence in its highest analysis constitutes organs within organs or living beings within living beings, and therefore that only life itself exists.
Thus, as all existing life-forms in the universe exist on the same ladder as terrestrial mankind and as all living beings without exception are subject to that same transformation or evolutionary process, and furthermore, with regard to the position which each one occupies on the evolutionary ladder and which (as explained in later analyses) constitutes a great indispensable factor in the other's daily experience of life, it will be necessary for the one who is seeking a more advanced mode of existence to have a wide outlook over his own and his fellow-beings' relation to, and position in that eternal ascending movement. Therefore, in symbols 7 and 8 we will obtain a view of the realities which, in the form of evolution, support those living beings on the eternal Road towards Light.
