Livets Bog, vol. 1
A cosmic person's and a terrestrial person's sense of the triune analysis of a living being
250. On the small illustration in the left bottom corner of the symbol we see one of the vertical sections. This shows the living being's triune analysis. We also see two triangles, one of which is surrounded by a halo of rays. The latter represents the cosmic or real human being, while the other represents terrestrial man. From each of these two triangles emerge two pairs of dotted lines. These express to what degree terrestrial man is conscious of, or knows, his own cosmic or triune analysis and to what degree the cosmic being knows it. The dotted lines show us that terrestrial man is conscious only of the lowest area, in other words that he knows only his bodily structure or X3 and of this part he is mainly still aware only of the physical body and not of the spiritual bodies. The other two areas, that is X2 and X1 or the Divine Creative Principle and the Divine Something terrestrial man is at the most aware of only theoretically or senses only vaguely. But the cosmic being, the one who has passed through the fundamental experience of the Great Birth, is on the other hand, conscious in all three basic principles, as is shown by the dotted lines proceeding from this being.
