249. Looking at the vertical areas, we see that each is divided into three parts. These parts each express (according to later analyses) one of the three principles of which the living being consists. Of these three principles we have already touched on two, that is the bodily structure and the "fixed point". While the lowest area represents the bodily structure or movements, the higher one, the white area, is the "fixed point" behind the movements - in other words, the "Living Something" which experiences and manifests the movements. The middle area represents the Divine Creative Principle. All three principles - the Divine Something, the Divine Creative Principle and the bodily structure or "the Created" - will be elucidated later in special analyses under the terms "X1", "X2" and "X3".
