The individual's concept of living beings while he is able only to sense movement
241. The living being is surrounded by a great accumulation of concentrated movement in the form of its bodily structure, yet the latter does not consist of the actual "living" part of the living being. As the "living" part is not movement, then it is outside time and space and thus cannot be sensed by the individual who still only senses movements. Therefore, such an individual's impression of living beings stands or falls by the movements he observes being carried out by them. He perceives these movements, which in this case means the bodily structure, as constituting the "living" part of the beings. He perceives the living being's manifestation but not its instigator or the living being itself. In such a case, therefore, he is unwittingly actually living in the illusion that manifestation can experience manifestation or that movement can experience movement.
