The road to "seeing God" thus goes through nothing but "universal love". Only universal love creates the mental balance and independence that are required if sensory perception is not to be partial or to favour some areas far too much, which in both cases will give a false picture of the Godhead. Since the true picture of the Godhead or world picture, in all its details large and small, expresses the most hair-fine logic and is solely and absolutely advantageous in all fields, thereby constituting a universal defence for all living beings, for everything and for everyone, then the individual has to get into contact with this love, otherwise it will not be on the same "wavelength" as the keynote of the universe and will therefore be unable to sense or experience in fields that it is not in contact with. We have just seen how experiences of feeling without a corresponding sense of logic made its originator reason partially and made it curse some things and bless others. Since everything is an expression of the Godhead, this thus means that such individuals curse a part of God, and their knowledge of the world and their view of God must to the same extent be imperfect. Their talent for understanding the true mystery of life is still slumbering.
      The same is the case with those individuals whose intelligence is far too great in relation to their experiences of feeling. They also reason partially, since they are able to understand answers only in terms of weights, measures and vibrations. But since the Godhead is more than these answers in terms of weights, measures and vibrations, these beings cannot "see God" either. Their talent in that direction is latent like that of the previously mentioned beings.
