But these unbalanced conditions gradually rebound on the individual in the form of mutilation and suffering. The eternal laws seek balance, which in turn means the individual's experience of the keynote of the universe, "eternal peace", which is the same as Nature's own even distribution of the energies in the right places or fields and which in turn gives the individual the experience mentioned in "Livets Bog" as the "great birth", which is in turn the same as the overshadowing by "the Holy Spirit" mentioned in the Bible in a permanent form. When the individual reaches this condition, it does not lack the energies to experience life one hundred per cent in certain cases because it in other cases has dissipated or used too much energy for the experience of life, and thereby this latter form of experience could not be one hundred per cent correct either since it, through the great expenditure of energy, would naturally be too strong, which is the same as excessive. Imbalance or too much or too little sympathy cannot possibly give the individual a normal sense of its own existence in the universe, this sense being the same as its experience of the solution to the mystery of its own I, its identity with the Godhead's unshakeable, immortal life and all the manifestations of the universe as the Godhead's all-embracing revelation of love.
