'Aruna'
18.12.55

Very dear end wonderful 'Martinus',
This is to bring to you and all the dear people who are fortunate to be near you kind greetings for Christmas and a happy New Year.
It is now only just over a year ago since you were here making us so happy in your Nilgiris – for since the ray of power from your centre has touched here, the Nilgiris are also part of your power station, is it not so? Anna and I are remembering how we [?] you. Anna, Marie and I celebrated Christmas eve in Aruna, a week before the event! For you made the Christmas child live at that moment in a happy joy of being. I can never (side 2) forget that time.
I am at present reading Anna's translation of "The Christmas Message". It will be an inspiration to so many more when it is also given to the world in English. The priests in the churches go on speaking platitudes and do not give a new life to the old church. The pity is they give it an individual meaning of one great man, not the cosmic sense as you do. No one ever said before the manger is the earthly theme on beings today. Yet taken so how it all begins to stand clear in an inner sense.
You must be flooded with letters this season. This is just for me to make the link for Marie and me to your Sun power. Marie is still away in United States. She is being well looked after by a well to do American lady, and she says they say she brings (Side 3) a serenity that they need to know. I do not know when she returns. She has not written for three months. I sometimes wonder will she return? And I feel too that 'Aruna' our place may not last long. I am facing something "on the Threshold" and do feel a little frightened. Then I remember how you who can see so much of this and still can laugh, and I try to say all must be well.
We had too much rain, but now it is the clear beautiful sunshine as it was when you were here. We hope that you will come bringing the sunshine again with you – meanwhile we look forward to Mr. Larsen coming. I thank you for your sweet invitation to come with Anna and Venka. I do not know where I shall be then.

With Love

Lulu Wilding.
